ExaDev

Engineering Support

More capacity, without hiring in a panic.

You've got a product, a team and a direction. You need more people who can ship, and you need them before a hiring process would deliver.

01

When it fits

  • Your investors want you to move faster, but you'd rather hire carefully than quickly
  • A big customer or deadline needs more hands than you have
  • You need a skill your team doesn't have yet, such as infrastructure, data or AI
  • You want to see what good engineering habits look like up close, and keep them
02

How we join your team

We work in your Slack, your repositories and your processes. There's no barrier between our engineers and yours. We pick up tickets, review code, pair with your people and ship. We also bring our habits: the log channel, descriptive commits and decisions written down.

03

Hire one, get all of us

Your major-focus engineer is backed by others who know your codebase, plus our Lead engineers, and specialists who rotate in when the work needs them. Need some infrastructure stood up for a week? We rotate in someone who's done it many times, rather than you hiring for it.

04

Start lean

Not sure how much you need? Start with Spot: up to ten days a month of our spare capacity, at a discount. Step up to a major focus when it's clearly working.

Common Fabric

We joined a Silicon Valley AI startup's team to build confidential computing infrastructure on Google Cloud, fully automated through GitOps.

“They communicated proactively, needed little direction, and the timezone difference wasn't an issue. I'd enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who is in the market for high-quality flexible engineering bandwidth.”
Alex KomoroskeCo-founder, Common Fabric (formerly Common Tools), ex-Google, ex-Stripe
“ExaDev have been transformative in helping shape our technology as we grow as a business. Our partnership has enabled ClearStake to scale rapidly, enabling us to confidently support enterprise clients and quickly embrace new technologies such as AI.”
Martin BurtFounder, ClearStake

Need people who can ship next week?

You'll talk to one of the senior engineers who run the company, not a salesperson. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and try to point you to someone who is.
